1. Why should I order from Emerald City Imports?

Answer: Here are the advantages:
a. We work directly with the suppliers, providing designs and checking quality control in order to bring you the best quality of handicrafts available.
b. We have low overhead; therefore we can provide the best quality at the lowest prices.
c. We have a solid record of short waiting times for shipments.
d. We offer damage coverage through our carrier (shipper).
e. We are well informed about hot retail items because we work festivals and markets, thereby keeping in touch with end users.
f. We give you our honest opinion about hot items, in contrast to reps of large companies who tend to push items that have high markups or excess inventory.

2. How can I get wholesale prices?

Answer: The prices you will be getting will be significantly lower than wholesale (20-50% lower in most cases). However your order must be prepaid, and it will take 2-3 months for you to receive it.

5. Do you have a hardcopy catalog?

Answer: We have a few old catalogs. They show items that are listed online with a year number preceding the code number.

6. What is the ordering process, and how long will it take you to get my order?

Answer: After you place an order, there is a 50% deposit required before we begin production. It usually takes about 4 weeks to produce an order.
The remaining 50% balance is due before we ship the order from Asia. A typical shipment takes about 6 weeks to arrive in Florida. Faster for US west coast or Europe.

7. Do you ship internationally?

Answer: Yes, we can ship anywhere in the world where there is an airport or seaport.

8. Do I get credit for goods if they arrive in damaged condition?

Answer: Sorry, no. Please expect to receive 1-5% of goods in damaged condition. However the damage is generally slight, so the goods can easily be repaired and/or sold by you as part of a discount sale.

Answer: If we had one, yes. However, we no longer keep a warehouse, so a visit would be a waste of time.
