Shi-Shi-O-Doshi
The shishiodoshi or souzu is a traditional Japanese garden decoration that provides a gentle rhythm of movement and sound. It works as follows:
An off-center bamboo tube fills with water. At a certain point, the accumulated water in the front tips the tube forward and the water spills out. The empty tube is then "bottom heavy" and swings back to its original position, tapping the base.
